PBCS, the developers of GivingForKindness, places the highest priority on safeguarding the privacy of all information and email addresses collected from our service. We guarantee that we will make the utmost effort within our ability to guard email addresses and any other personal information from being disclosed. In addition, PBCS will not disclose or sell any personal information to any third parties.
As many visitors to the GivingForKindness site are children, we recognize the need for additional privacy protection for children. We adhere to the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 and encourage parents or guardians to be present while all younger visitors enter personal information on the internet, including on our site. Request for Information/Get Started
A user that completes a Get Started form must provide such information as name, email address and Tax ID Number. This information is used to register you for the services provided on GivingForKindness in which, by filling out this form, you have expressed interest.
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to set up an account for you on We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request.
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this Privacy Policy.
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Online Registrations and Donations
When registering for a campaign or donating online using one of our secure forms, we may request information from you or your Sponsors to process your registration or donation. You/they will be required to provide contact information such as name and email address, and financial information like credit card number and expiration date. This information is used to complete your registration or make donations. If there is a problem processing your registration/donations, we may use this information to contact you/Sponsors.
Wherever we collect sensitive information such as credit card data, that information collected off of our site by the credit card processor WePay or Stripe. No credit card numbers, expiration dates or security codes are collected or stored on our website. You can verify that sensitive information is collected securely by looking for a closed lock icon on your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a highly secure environment.
Organizations that use GivingForKindness for fundraising campaigns have access only to data related to registrations and donations for events held by their organization. This data includes items such as name, address, and email addresses.  They do not have access to credit card numbers, expiration dates or security codes.
Child Privacy Policies
In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), parental or guardian consent is required for collecting, using or disclosing information from children under 13. If consent is not provided by or on behalf of a parent or guardian, we will not collect, use or disclose any personal information from the child. If your child has used GivingForKindness and submitted Personal Information to us without your consent, please contact us and we will immediately remove that information from the Sites and our database.
Any Personal Information entered by your child (Participant), including name, picture (if you choose to upload one) and Ways of Giving Back, will be shared with Sponsors whose email addresses you enter or to whom you send your child’s personal donation website link.
We do not ask children to share more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in GivingForKindness fundraisers, and information collected from children will only be retained for as long as their school’s campaign is running. Parents and guardians are free and encouraged to review the Personal Information that is collected, used or disclosed. They also have the ability to refuse further use or maintenance of the information. PBCS makes reasonable efforts to establish and maintain procedures to protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of information from anyone under the age of 13.

You may opt out of any future contact from us at any time, by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website.
Do We Use "Cookies"?
Yes.
